Have you ever been to a patisserie in Paris? Or one of those places that specialise in luxurious macarons? If you have, then this perfume needs no further description. It’s like a sweet in its own right, with notes of liquorice and sour cherry opening up your olfactory senses, before the stars of the fragrance – rose and the macarons themselves – mellow gently on your skin. The base consists of anise, which lends an additional spiciness to the dry down, and woodsy vanilla. It manages to be both sweet and a little bit sour at the same time, certainly a highly unique fragrance that suits women who don’t want to give the game away too quickly. Ooh la la!

Of the 13 eden perfumes I’ve tried, this is my absolute favourite! It’s so, so pretty and calming.
It smells better on my skin than on a sample paper, which is the opposite to what usually happens.
I desperately want it to come back in stock!
