It has taken around 2 weeks to truly appreciate this. Has that sort of sophisticated soapyness that can be a tad overpowering very similar to No.242 when you first use it but the warmth that comes after use is subtle but ever present. Initially the sillage was medium but now it has found a home and persists. I am so impressed by the how the fine flowery slightly citrus top notes also remain perfectly balanced above but within the deeper base note even after the dry down. Very glad I took my time with this one. It will have a permanent place as a standalone work of (for me….) perfection that allows me to clear away the maybes in the collection…. an easy 5/5.
