I have bought quite a few from Eden, and go into their Brighton shop semi-regularly to stock up for myself and to buy gifts for others. Honestly of the dozens of perfumes I have sampled in there, this one is probably my favourite. It was also the favourite of my girlfriend who was in there and she bought some for herself. There was another guy in the shop who was looking for something, he saw us try it and he tried it and bought it too! The guy in the shop said ‘yes that one is very popular’.
Honestly only leaving this review as no one else has and it’s really a very unique and alluring scent. I can’t tell you what it smells like, but it’s quite ethereal. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly sweet smelling, and it has perhaps a hint of fresh fennel, but in a good way, and it all comes together beautifully. ‘Fresh with slight cucumber nuances’ is accurate. Unisex is accurate, it’s not overtly masculine or feminine, but would suit both genders.

Excellent version of Le Labo’s Santal 33. It has Santal 33’s interesting dill note that some people notice, some don’t. On me, it is not particularly woody (nor do I really discern the notes listed) — it is warm, herbal, gently floral — an affordable version of the overpriced pickle juice Le Labo flooded the world with. 5 stars!

although i can’t really compare this directly to its inspiration (santal 33 by le labo) because i can’t afford to remortgage for a bottle of le labo (& wouldn’t, anyway, as they’re not nearly as ethical as eden perfumes), i LOVE it. my nose doesn’t detect much sandalwood (or the dill note that everyone seems to mention when discussing santal 33); but, in spite of my reasonably decent ability to detect singular notes, i can’t seem to pick out single notes. it’s THAT expertly blended. somehow smells slightly gourmand to me (without being overt).
i’d say that you’ll enjoy wearing it if you like a more avant-garde fragrance that is still flexible enough to be an all-occasions, all-seasons perfume with decent longevity that will continually challenge & compel your brain.
big shout out to annette, who quickly & kindly solved an issue that was royal mail’s fault. 🙂

Just love this fragrance. A couple of years ago I was feeling stuck for a winter fragrance, did a lot of research, and found this. Bought from Eden due to price and ethical values. It’s just lovely – so warm and delicious! I usually spray on clothes rather than skin as this works better for me (on skin the later notes remind me of Coco Chanel or something, which I don’t like – on clothes it maintains its lovely unique smell). It lasts for ages. I love the warmth and complexity of this fragrance.

This smells much better in the air than up close. It opens up quite sharp and masculine, herbal which is what people say is dill pickles. To me it’s more fresh dill if anything, I’d call it aromatic. Once it dries down it becomes more floral and soft and finally settles into a fuzzy, creamy sandalwood base. The sillage is lovely. Totally unisex and lasts forever. I sprayed one spray on my hand to test it and could still smell it then next morning after walking over to my mam’s house and sleeping over. I could smell it all the way there too in the cold air. People say it’s been done to death and they smell it everywhere, like Baccarat Rouge, but I don’t live in New York city. I live in a small town in the North East of England so I don’t smell this on anyone else. Will be a nice scent for spring and summer, autumn too. Infact, you could wear this all year round tbh.
