This really will make you crave a creamy dessert dusted with the finest cacao powder. It’s a delicious, dark and creamy vanilla type of fragrance. Vanillarama has many interesting facets, at times it becomes quite boozy and lush, then it smells like expensive dark chocolate with specks of oranges. The patchouli and sandalwood subtly keep the scent from getting too edible. Surely this doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s wonderful grown-up vanilla for the colder months that doesn’t smother you in literal foody notes but still makes your mouth water. You will love almost everything about this.

I went to the shop on Portobello Road yesterday. The assistant recommended this and it was love at first sniff. Put it on this morning. Got asked by a ticket lady what I was wearing as I smelt amazing. Told her. Hugged a friend later. She went home, said she could smell my perfume on her (I put 3 sprays on 10 hours earlier), what was it? Told her. She’s ordered a bottle! So yes, it’s stunning. It’s vanilla in the best possible way. Warm, a bit sweet and a bit of spice, not too much. Not cloying at all. Yes, longevity is incredible. My skin sucks perfume up, nothing lasts on me. Nearly 13 hours later and I can still smell it. Not a skin scent yet. Yes, it projects. Best recommendation! So thank you to the lovely lady at Eden for telling me about it. Looking forward to going back for my refill and testing more!
