Oud Wood opens with a warm, smooth, slightly spicy, sharp woody accord. It’s dense, sweet, and ambery, and slightly peppery and the cardamom note. Our vegan alternative to oud wood smells a little bit like a freshly cut-down tree. It’s full of woody freshness and refinement and is one of our top sellers. Refined and classy and works great when you’re looking elegant. A few hours later, the woodiness develops into a gorgeous, sweet, silky musk that will envelop you with a sensuous aroma for all to bear witness to. It works best when it’s a little cooler, as this is a powerful fragrance that needs cold air to soften some of the sharpness.
Oud can be difficult for some people, but this fragrance is very easy to like. The Oud doesn’t assault your nostrils like some scents, it’s blended perfectly and gives you a great blend of different woods. Obviously, this fragrance is for someone who likes woody fragrances, it’s not a dry wood smell, there is an element of sweetness that ties the fragrance together. It has great longevity on the skin and lasts forever on clothes. Sillage is also amazing and we recommend wearing this when going to evening events, looking and feeling like a million bucks. The opening really puts a smile on one’s face, and the dry down is where you feel happy and warm. That being said it does keep becoming deeper and more complex over time.
