Prada Paradoxe is a crowd-pleasing fruity amber floral. A burst of sugary sweet fruits that lasts till the end. It dries down to a pretty generic (very) sweet white floral scent. It’s nice, and easy to wear, but not unique. There is no doubt that this will remind you of many other sweet flowers. In the first initial spray, you will get a sharp bergamot and tangerine, some neroli, and benzoin. Then, when it dried down, you felt the jasmine and vanilla coming forth and when some more time had passed, the fragrance ended up as this warm, creamy, sweet garden scent. There is no sugary sweetness here, slight dry sweetness from the orange blossom and vanilla that combined with the fresh orange juice gives it a slight Caribbean freshly peeled ripe organic pure pineapple smell but it’s not juicy so it’s a Paradoxe.

It’s very well blended and pretty, with a fresh edge because of the bergamot, and a comforting vibe from the musk that keeps it so in balance. The top notes are sweet & pretty, you get the pear and citrus, then the florals come in, and finally the base notes! The warm cosy amber, musk, and vanilla. The base is soft and delicious but you can still smell it at arm’s length. Orange blossom-flavoured Turkish delight! Yes, it’s feminine and you will almost taste powdered sugar when smelling it (not in an overly sweet way). Not super complicated but a solid sweet Neroli choice with a pinch of depth from the vanilla. Longevity and projection are both moderate. Suited for the night it is more of a going-out fragrance when you are with the girls. Prada Paradoxe is a close-to-the-skin kind of fragrance.
