This is a very seductive fragrance and the quality of ingredients in it are clearly elite. The top notes of rose and saffron last for ages and begin to warm and sweeten with the vanilla notes found in the heart of the fragrance. This lasts all the way alongside the base notes of cedar and sandalwood. It’s rare that you can smell every individual note so clearly in a fragrance and yet its so perfectly blended.

Although this is definitely suited for the colder weather there’s something about it that works great on a warm late evening. It takes you straight to Egypt where incense is burnt in all the luxury hotels like Ramsis Hilton lobby. Like old-school men’s barbershop soap, but blended with a lot of spices and a little rose. Heavy and humid. There really is a palpable humidity to this, a kind of musky mustiness – but not icky, just a little old-fashioned. Definitely for the ones who love oriental fragrances and this is a compliment beast. Absolutely top notch stuff.
