No.145 O Sauvage – Citrus Aromatic Men’s

4.67 (3)

O, Sauvage! Sing it at the top of your voice! Shout it to the rooftops! Classic colognes don’t get much better than this. If you want to smell like a classy, sophisticated gentleman all day long and aren’t afraid to invite others into your wonderfully-smelling world, then this is the scent for you no matter how old you are! This is citrus at its finest – lemon and bergamot will invigorate you whilst notes of basil and sandalwood add refinement and real longevity to the fragrance. The dry down is quite mysterious and sexy, with sensual notes of amber and musk revealing themselves at the death – this scent goes out with a real bang. Has excellent projection and lasts a good 6-8 hours on the skin, which for a citrus fragrance is supersonic.

I have loved the original Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior, for over 40 years. I have experienced every version; Cologne, EDT, Parfum, & Concentré. I have found it’s equal! It’s very hard to differentiate between Eden’s version & the original. In future I will be buying only from Eden, it’s not the price which swayed me, it is the excellent ethics which Eden have! *****

Smells like vintage Eau Sauvage EdT. Superb smelling stuff and the best ‘inspired by’ out there. Prefer this to the current Eau Sauvage EdT formulation.

Pretty good. The opening sadly isn’t really like Eau Sauvage which is an amazing fresh, dry citrus and herbs affair, this has a prominent sweet and fruity note in the opening which made me wonder if I’d got the right scent. However, once it calms down, it does start to smell like a lot like Eau Sauvage but with a bit more power if anything, which is not a bad thing as the original always faded disappointingly quickly.
