This fragrance opens with a fresh bouquet of mint, lavender and bergamot. It has the air of a very high-end shaving cream to it – it’s very modern and smells like something a suave modern Frenchman or a classy tennis player like Roger Federer would swear by. After the initial fresh opening, notes of vanilla and sandalwood pop out to reveal a slightly sweet, slightly woody, powdery dry down. It’s great to wear to the office or when going out to lunch with friends, and is perfect for any time of year.

Thomas Martin –
The description is indeed accurate although, to my possibly barbarian nose, it could be reduced to “(smells like) a high-end shaving cream”. If you want to smell like you are, at this very moment, having a shave, this is the fragrance for you. It doesn’t last very long so I’m using my sample after a bath as bit of added freshness before proceeding to something more substantial for the rest of the day. In this capacity, it makes a change from something minty and/or aquatic. If freshness is most what you’re after though, I first recommend Minerale Oud.
